Reb, this is not always the case my man. It's all about good hair, good makeup, good lighting, flattering poses and a hot girl. Combine these elements and no photoshop is needed. Even if those pics that modelgig posted had not been retouched, the pictures are still more flattering to the model than yours.
Perhaps if you would hire a decent photographer who knew something about photography, lighting and working with models to produce "flattering" poses, you would do better. Great photography has nothing to do with photoshop Reb, it has to do with knowledge.
You don't have to be a porn veteran or a genius to understand that a better "more flattering" picture (not a photoshopped picture) may result in more inquiries which may result in more bookings.
I book models all the time and yes....I always tell the girl (or her agent) to send me pics that are NOT photoshopped or retouched in any way. But I still get some absolutely great shots. Why? Because the model and/or agent understands that great photography can flatter the model the way that amateur photography can't. Once you learn that Reb, your business may actually grow by a small percentage this year
