Mom charged with pimping daughter

MUSKEGON, Mich., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- A Michigan man has been charged with giving his 12-year-old daughter cigarettes and his girlfriend's 14-year-old daughter clothes and body piercing for sex.

The girlfriend faces charges of arranging for her daughter to service the man while she was recovering from cosmetic surgery. She allegedly made the teenager sign a contract.

"I've never seen anything like this before. Parents aren't supposed to do something like this," Calvin Mahan, a police detective in Muskegon Heights, told the Detroit Free Press.

The newspaper did not identify the defendants because doing so would identify the victims.

Investigators say the girlfriend was afraid her boyfriend would leave her if she did not make arrangements for him to be satisfied while she was healing from a tummy tuck.
