In Real Estate in California, the general theory is DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE.

When people go Whitwater Rafting, even on not very dangerous rivers, the general theory is to take the prospective rafters aside BEFORE the rafting trip, and explain to them, 'yes, you could die doing this.'

In both cases, yes, sales might be effected by being HONEST and FORTHRIGHT with the buyers, or, as it were, rafters.

My wife was scared to death to go rafting, for instance.

Before we went on our Class 5 high season ride, the guide took us all aside, and the very FIRST words out of his mouth were these:

"Ladies and gentlemen, we here at American Whitewater Rafting would like you to know something before you go on this trip. We don't care about sales enough to mislead you. You could DIE doing this, folks. If you fall out of the boat, and get caught in those branches on the sides, your flesh could get turned into swiss cheese. To avoid this danger, if you do happen to fall out, GET YOUR ASS TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RIVER AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Your lifejacket will float you, and we will get you back in the boat as soon as humanely possible."

He went on from there, and very eloquently told us about ALL THE WAYS IN WHICH WE COULD GET HURT, AND WHAT WE COULD DO TO AVOID SCREWING UP.

Why can't it be this way in porn?

You people are taking TEENAGERS, straight out of high school, and putting them in DANGEROUS SITUATIONS, such as DP, Double Anal, Ass-to-Mouth (disease) and so on.

Why can't you take the time to do what our rafting guide did, and EXPLICITLY tell these KIDS about the DANGERS?

My wife went on the rafting trip, EVEN AFTER she endured the chilling, and HONEST explanation of all the terrible things that could go wrong.

You know WHY she still went?

Because she was GRATEFUL that our guide had been HONEST with us, and felt she could TRUST HIM because he had DISCLOSED all the possible associated risks.

You may think a girl, straight out of high school, should know what all these diseases do. Guess what? They don't.

You may think all girls in high school have been around creeps like many of the jerks on this board and know what coke and speed are, and do. Guess what? Not all of them do.

In my dealings with people in life, I ALWAYS DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE.
