I dont know why people have to say this....I am not picking on you tierney (I would never do that) for two reasons: (1) you are totally fucking hot and are lucky to have Cassandra to molest, but more importantly (2) because A LOT Of people say this, that "Pot is NOT a Drug" (and a few of them probably actually Believe it...) But Marijuana is a Drug...The fact that it is a plant, and a rather Useful Plant at that, doesnt change what it does or why, when it is placed in open flame and the resulting oxidized byproduct is inhaled into our lungs. Opium Poppies are a beautiful Flower and no one is going to deny Heroin or Morphine is a Drug...So yes, Pot is a drug, but who cares? It's awesome, does great things to our minds, makes us feel great, allows us to do shit we might not otherwise do...Why do we have to Deny what it is? To assuage any guilt we might feel over it being a drug? Who gives a fuck? Drugs have been "Systematically Scapegoated and Demonized" (Father Tom, AKA William S Burroughs in Drugstore Cowboy ) Time to give credit where credit is due...drugs have their place..."Just say No" is a False Teaching and an example of the institutionalization of Living in Denyle...I mean Denial...It should be "Just say 'What is it, what does it do, and is it right for me and my circumstances/lifestyle/goals' when it comes to drugs..." Knowledge and Truth and Honesty are what prevent skidrow addictions and instead allow for more pleasure/less pain in the few years we actually spend on this Mudball...

I like Beer, Wine & Booze (among other things)....Alcohol is a drug...I have no compunction acknowledging that. But the fact that I may be a Borderline alcoholic in some peoples' eyes (I am not), and the fact that Alcoholics are a form of Drug Addicts, does not make me, or put me, in the same league as Crack Addicts (another form of Drug Addicts.) In other words, "a Drug Addict is a Drug Addict is a Drug addict" IS NOT a fair, true or even remotely valid statement. Someone who smokes pot, but then says its not a drug, because they feel the need to assuage their conscience and pre-empt any narrowminded Buzz-Cut-Wearing-Right-wing-fuckheads who want to take away their weed and make them feel guilty, is being disingenuous with themselves....

ENBRACE POT as the wonderful awesome DRUG it is...THC rules...
