I heard that alot of companies don't shoot around this time or it's just a slow season to be filming so many movies. I'm one of those people that have family especially in LA but I won't turn down any work. I need work in advance before I go to a place where there's nothing for me to do. Some people have called me the day before the shoot and asked me if I wanted to work but living in Northern Nevada it was impossible for me to jump up and fly to LA or anywhere else in the world to shoot. The last time I drove to LA it took me a week to get some work, but when the word got out that I was in town, I was shooting everyday and I got to do 7 movies before I went back home.
