Recently, a friend of mine introduced me to Vera Little. Vera is a pretty young artist, model and web designer who has both legs amputated below the knee and is also missing all her fingers. She's also a dollmaker/collector, like myself and was quite intrigued by my collection. When I showed her some of my dolls she gasped "Oh shit! this is the strangest thing i've ever seen."
Browsing through her website is like taking a strole through Vera's life. She describes the project as "a quest for glamour through a journey of self-exploitation. This may include, but is not limited to, photography, film, digital and live perfomance." Her site is devoted to presenting herself in as a glamorous movie starlet and cyber princess. Many of the photos are nude or partly nude, and she has a pretty smoking body.
