As much as it pains me to say it, martin's days as a starter really end after this season. He has been an absolute warrior for the jets and maybe the classiest player in the nfl, but I really think he will not be able to take the punishment of carrying the ball 30+times a game for another season. I think there may be a few qb's out there we could trade for and bybass a lot of the rebuilding. We have a great defense, which is just having a tough time because they are on the field way to long this season, and I don't want to lose that waiting for a young offense and qb to learn the ropes. Bush is interesting because he could be coming out his junior year and able to jump in right away and be productive. At this point I really don't know what to think, we still have Chad hanging around the team office talking about next year, and with that monster contract the jets most likely will not be cutting him this offseason so that will be a noose around our neck again.
