I am fascinated by the "industry" for these very same reasons and like a driver on the 405, looking away from the wreck is just not possible.
Also, the acts we "get them to do" is a misstatement; these girls do what they want, acts that are explained well beforehand for a prearranged amount of money, with known people. We don't "get them to do" anything more than any employer "gets" his/her employees to do things that economically benefit the employer.
Also, saying that these girls "end up" turning to drugs is just bullshit; they often come in as dope fiends and just leave with bigger habits. In fact, many girls come to the industry to support their habits. But what is different than the same girl working for coke money at Gelson's or a bank? Maybe the only difference is your fucked up judgmental attitude about sex.
You claim to work for people's rights, free speach and individual empowerment, but your innability to see sex as an act of free speech just reveals what a narrow minded thinker you really are. Remember, just because you don't like porn doesn't mean that it is not someone else's right to produce, participate or view porn.
I don't like most television, I think it does all the same things you just said porn does, but I don't go around saying it should not be made or that those who make it are some how evil.
Do some real thinking and maybe you could put your energies towards a cause that might better serve the world.
