Hi everyone! As the title read I am new to the board here, just found this site Wednesday. I have been a fan of porn flicks for several years (as any red blooded American male should be) and am SO happy I found this board! After reading through some various posts, I have some questions that I hope I can ask, and hopefully not get flamed for doing so. I honestly don't mean to offend anyone with my lack of knowledge or any other part of this post that some may take as any kind of an insult. I just have some honest questions and am hoping you all are kind enough to help a newbie out.

First of all, I am SO HAPPY to see that Gen Padova is a member here. Gen I love ya, you are absolutely adorable! You also seem very nice and I appreciate that you are so down to earth.

Secondly, Hailey Young, same to you. I have been a fan of yours for quite some time as well, glad to kind of get to know you a little better!

Thrid, Melissa Lauren, again, big fan, love ya!

Fourth, I think I saw a post from Ashley Blue? Love her too!

Man, just tell me Jenna Haze posts here sometimes and I will hang around 24/7 for life and chat with these lovely ladies! LOL! Just kidding, I am not a "cyber stalker" lol.

Now, for the newbie questions I have, and again, I REALLY don't mean to offend anyone in anyway.

1) I am wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me learn who these people are and what do they do as far as the industry goes and/or what is their story with the board here?

A) Sportswammi
B) Luke Ford
C) Fayner
D) Monstar
E) Chico
F) Monkey
G) Kid Vegas
H) Saw something in a post about a guy looking like Jared from the Subway commercials, what's the story with that guy? Is he a member here?

Is it possible for you guys to kind of introduce yourselves or if anyone knows these guys/girls, throw a few lines down about them just to get me in the loop of things.

2) Do people think that Pamela Peaks is attractive, or is the fact that someone is using her headshot as an avatar just kind of a sick joke? Honestly, I am assuming this is a joke and I really don't mean to offend that user if they are in fact a fan of hers, but man, she is just NOT my type of girl.

3) Is Taylor Rain not liked in the industry for some reason?

4) Finally that leads me to my next question, there is sometimes the rumor or stigma attached to porn that the actresses who star in these movies do it because they were either abused as children, are hooked on coke/meth/whatever else and are generally unhappy about their career choice and are "forced" to be in porn, their family has disowned them, they are runaways, etc. I am sure that I am not the only one to have ever heard those types of rumors before. I have to question though, is there really any truth to any of that. I mean, the actresses on the board here seem so down to earth and nice, I find it hard to believe that any of the above is true. What are your thoughts?

Well, I know it is a long post, and kind of a ballsy one for my first, however I hope I have not offended anyone and I look forward to your replies. Please don't flame me, lol, I honestly am just curious about these things I mentioned. Thank you so much for your time, all of you!
