Alright. My new years resolution is to get more involved instead of just lurking so here goes...
I've heard the accusations and read all the gossip about Red Light District. My take on the story is this. In order to get a foothold in this industry, you have to either have very novel content OR be willing to do what it takes to get the product out there.
I'm not condoning any alleged unethical activities by former management but I'll tell you one thing. Red Light has enjoyed astounding growth that will ultimately benefit those left in the company. They have huge name recognition with consumers and continue to pump out titles.
As far as I see it, distribution plus consumer recognition equals continued success... whether anybody in the industry likes it or not.
Don't flame me too bad for an unpopular opinion.
