If Holly taught him how to do that she ought to offer photography classes.

Look at Kat's hair, eyelashes and necklace - that's a thin depth-of-field, yet the focal plane is perfectly positioned. Kat's pose is ideal for that composition too.

That's a shot where the photographer knew what they wanted and knew how to get it.

The JPEG has no EXIF data so I can't tell what camera took it. It looks like an SLR to me, but maybe P&S's are fast enough to do that these days?

I doubt Luke's demonic camera did that: I bet it was taken by Holly on a DSLR. If she got Luke from where he was to this, improving that much, that quick, with a P&S, sign me up for classes.
