This seems like the ever-present debate of style over substance. Monstar has both in spades (by the way, I'm with you on the Hammer Films) but not everyone is so fortunate.

And not everyone can have the substance that comes with a style. If history teaches us anything, it is that substance gets watered down in favor of the style. And style becomes a trend. The trend becomes a fad. There was a time when beavers (not the Hustler kind) were hunted to near extinction because guys needed a certain kind of hat. Then, poof, the next trend will take its place.

The proof will be in the pud-ding (yes, that was meant to be a lame-ass pun). What porn will people spend their hard-earned dollars on? If Eon's stuff sells well, then this may be a long-lasting fad that everyone will hop on. If not, then a year from now it will be 'Eon who?'
