Amazing how some people can make a post claiming information and not reveal his or her true identity. EH SBD. If Tristie spent more time on phone with customers than with her boyfriend in Canada, maybe shed still be employed. Probably not , but maybe.Amazing what people do to you when you give them trust. Hmmmm... not that I have anything to do with this but everyone on this board knows that I dont hold back and pretty damn blunt with everything I experience myself so here it goes for whatever its worth... In the few times I have worked for AMA it has always been a pleasant experience. Friendly atmosphere and fun for sure. Vanilla is always sweet when I walk in the door, Longshot... well he's Longshot, always the odd buddy of mine but rocks the hiz-ouse LOL, I have met Joe a few times and he has always been nice, respectful, to the point, great sense of humor. Nothing shady about the guy at all and usually I have great instinct with that about people. And the biggest plus of all is that, at AMA you get paid 1st and 15th when shooting for them and you know what? You actually get paid on time unlike some other companies out there who have been around longer and are bigger who fail to pay on time in a legal manner. So whatever dispute has occured about a location fee Im sure goes deeper than just AMA not wanting to pay for a location. Perhaps people should stop the shit talking and be honest with their words instead of tweaking their stories to make others look like the bad guy rather than just being adults and admit their mistakes. Another words, there's nothing wrong with AMA. Cuz I know if there was, Longshot wouldn't be working for them. And that says a lot. That's about it. ADIOS MOFO's

Let me tell you all about this terminated employee. From a legal standpoint.. SHE WAS NOT an employee. She was not on the books. She was a private independent contractor.. contracted to distribute my product. WHat makes her this you say.. she submitted an invoice and was paid under her company name. SO you all can throw that employee crap out the window. And as far as the rest of you chicken shit fuckers who hide behind a screen name. Show yourselves in public or shut the fuck up.

Fine, if she wasn't an employee, she wasn't. What the hell are you getting so pissed off about?
There are employee's rights laws that prohibit an employer from trashing a terminated employee. I believe in CA, if you call someone's former employer, they may only release your job title, salary history, dates of employment, whether or not you left voluntarily, and whether you are eligible for rehire. Anything more than that can be considered harrasment, and thus a legal liability for the employer.
The whores are contractors, they are not employees of the production company (typically).
And left's face it, if you've been fired, payback may be on your mind.

actually James, every company in this business does it when they fire a salesperson or the salesperson leaves. my press release was rather neutral and said nothing negative about her... those things were inferred by others. the press release is necessary to ensure that everyone knows the employee no longer works for us and therefore cannot try to continue taking orders or other things while no longer employed

oddly enough... the ewok is correct. right or wrong, i get those wacky PRs all the time. I think i'll try to post a lot more PRs here just for people to note how outrageous they can get.
One company has a PR person with a penchant for misspelling, another sent me a Press release saying that they were sending their sales person to a convention. I was like "...and?"
the best ones are the ones girls send out themselves. now that shit is gold. I would be down to help these harlots if they'd kick in some green.
