Braces can be cute, convey innocence, and appreciating them doesn't necessarily indicate pedophilia.



This pisses me off too. Somehow in recent decades people have corrupted the notion of pedophilia and used it to tar a substantial part of the population with the same brush as kiddie fiddlers. Legal ages are set for reasons unrelated to biology, so there's absolutely no justification to regard anyone as somehow wrong in the head if their predilections don't always jibe with the law. As long as they exercise appropriate restraint over their animal instincts, they shouldn't be censured for having them.

Anyway, while the age for porn is pretty much internationally standardized at 18, the age of consent isn't. It varies from 13 upwards worldwide. Where I live it's perfectly legal for an adult of any age to do anything with a consenting 16 year old and that's about the average.

The correct definition of pedophilia is recognized by psychologists as attraction to prepubescents. This is because it is blindingly obvious that attraction to members of the opposite sex that you could viably reproduce with is a perfectly normal thing for any species.
