I consider myself a peaceful and humane type of guy, but I have to admit that my thinking on the continent often pendulates between "Save the Children" and Klown's "Social Darwinism" and I'm not sure that anything about Africa could resolve this internal contradiction for myself or the rest of the First World. I'd be happy to participate in saving them if I saw something or somebody that I thought could save them. But, of course that would all have to be built around something that had its core inside Africa.

According to Grant's post Zimbabwe at one time was a good place to live. So, there's got to be something valuable there even if one moron has managed to obtain power and destroy everything. I think it's just easier to destroy something than to create it.
