I came across this today by journalist John Adkins. What do you guys think? I think it's a brilliant article. Then again I lived in the heart of Africa (Zimbabwe) for 29 years so i have seen more than most Americans will ever see. I am sure most black people reading this will argue....but I don't expect any less since all black Americans have learnt to play the race card extremely well.
It saddens me as a foreigner to see such terrible double standards in this country. And you ALLOW this? Why???
America Plays The Race card:
"The black mayor of New Orleans, a perpetually corrupt, crime ridden and impoverished city 20 feet below sea level, surrounded by an ocean, a lake and the Mississippi River, tepidly suggests his citizens evacuate as a giant hurricane approaches. For those with no means to leave, he does nothing. The white President of the United States begs him to evacuate for four days. A hundred thousand mostly black residents choose to stay. The massive storm promptly becomes the deadliest catastrophe in American history, flooding the city, killing thousands.
Meanwhile, over 10,000 rescue workers, mostly white, leave comfortable homes, jobs and families, stream in from all across America four days in advance. But when the storm turns at the last minute, rescuers become victims. Over 9,000 square miles and 200 miles of coastline over 4 states become devastated. Communication is cut off. All utilities are ruined. Thousands of roadways are laid to waste. Nearly every vehicle is swept away, including trucks, planes and boats. New Orleans becomes virtually impassable.
Undaunted, the white rescue workers use whatever means available to help save the poor black residents.
They are greeted by gunfire.
Thousands of remarkably well-armed black people took over the city, wantonly raping, pillaging and murdering. They carjack rescue convoys, shoot at rescuers, levee repairmen, and even helicopters performing rescue missions. The operation is halted dead in its tracks.
And for this, white people are being labeled racist.
It didn't take long for the parade of race-whore vermin to rampage across the television screen, accusing white Americans of racial lollygagging. Rev. Calvin Butts declared, "I think a lot of it has to do with race and class." Jesse Jackson bluntly accused President Bush of racism. NBC's live telethon for the victims of Hurricane Katrina features rapper Kanye West declaring, George Bush doesn't care about black people.
Mayor Ray Nagin, who could have prevented much of the tragedy by merely ordering an evacuation two days earlier and deploying his 1,000 school bus fleet, began publicly swearing at everyone else but himself, particularly for not providing instant security. Really!?? Can you imagine if George Bush had clairvoyantly placed 20,000 soldiers in New Orleans the day the storm hit? Every white person in America knows Nagin, the Congressional Black Caucus, Rev. Jackson, the NAACP, and every black race hustler (but I repeat myself) in America would have shrieked Racism!!! Not sure? Kanye West already screamed "they've given them permission to go down and shoot us!"
Its been a century - long modus operandi for every black liberal politician: Blame Whitey.
And for years, white America surrendered the race card trump, placating racial rabble-rousers with over 10 trillion dollars of social programs. Not enough. They created racial preference laws. Not enough. They laid every guilt trip possible on white people. Not enough.
Well, not this time.
See, Whitey wised up. We know black people cause modern Black America's great plagues. Newt Gingrich doesn't run around knocking up 14-year-old black girls. Black men do. Ronald Reagan didn't gang bang and murder in the hood. Black men do. Rush Limbaugh doesn't coax black people into government servitude. Black liberals do. And certainly, William F. Buckley never advised black people to speak English like Jar Jar Binks. Black people do.
And in New Orleans, George W. Bush didn't ignore evacuation warnings, abandon poor black people trying to leave, loot the city and shoot rescuers. Black people did. Black people caused and could have prevented this entire tragedy, and when white people tried to help, black people literally tried to kill them.
That is a fact.
So, Black America, turn down the volume knob and listen carefully. Hear that? It's the sound of White America heaving a sigh of indifference.
To be certain, this isn't an indictment of all black people, though its certainly a wake-up slap to a large black majority who listen to these cretins. It is, however, a direct accusation against liberal race prostitutes who dominate popular black leadership, create misery and mayhem in the black community for self-aggrandizing personal power, and then detestably blame White America, insisting we don't understand the plight of black people.
The only thing White America doesn't understand is why black leaders sell their fellow black brethren down the river, sometimes literally, and why black people keep buying the ticket. This week provided a disgusting example. After creating their own tragedy, black people across America had a magnificent opportunity to convert adversity into compassionate national unity. Instead, they chose "Lord of the Flies" anarchy.
I suppose, as they say, "it's a black thing".

Good thread, Grant. I think the saddest thing about the whole tragedy is how the political opportunists, deluded Hollywood elite and the typical race baiters are using it as a way to push an anti-Bush and/or misinformed racial agenda that is divisive during a time where people need to put the bullshit aside and help each other rather than point fingers for political gain.
Do we really need an antiwar march now b/c Bush's poll numbers are at an all-time low when there still are people suffering and another potential crisis is looming in the gulf? Ah, just chalk it up to the typical hyprocrisy that currently infects our nation like cancer.

Interesting article Grant. I didn't realize you were from Zimbabwe, I thought you were a foreigner from Texas  . I agreed with some of the basic princeples of the article. I sick of white people being blamed for all the problems black people are having. It seems most black people (those in the hood) don't even try to get out and then blame everyone else for their problems. Wow.... A meat puppet with something interesting to say, gotta be a first

LOL! Yeah! Well noted! I have a degree in Marketing! But you can't blame me for being passionate about this issue since i have had friends and family members killed in Zimbabwe by Mugabe's goverment policies.
Yet there are no countries willing to grant people like me and my family political exile? Not even the USA? I had to get a corporate job and a sponsor to apply for my greencard ....and it cost me 8 grand i never had at the time. My folks have no chance of getting legal in the States.
By the way drive I agree with your point on Reagan sensationalism analogy.

It's a good article, but I think it's just written for people who already agree with it to go "hell, yeah!" and get a good chuckle out of it. People who don't agree with him before reading it are just going to get ticked off and start talking about the history of racial discrimination... blah, blah, blah.
Sorry to hear about your issues with Zimbabwe. Does sound like that sucks. Perhaps your marketing efforts are working because I now plan on reading that thread later today...

I like the substance of the article. I'm always amazed when some calamity befalls a majority non-white country or neighborhood, the problems are invariably the fault of abstract culprits, such as "colonialism", "oppression", or "inequality". Never are the problems of these neighborhoods or countries the fault of the people who live in them.
In this case, we see South Africa taking the first steps towards starvation and massive economic failure, such as is being experienced in former Rhodesia. The former breadbasket of Africa has turned its farms over to political toadies and incompetent thugs, who have only managed to turn bountiful fields into barren wastelands capable of feeding nobody. Care to guess who will blamed for this?
South Africa will attempt to conceal their motives behind post-apartheid reconciliation and may even have a show trial on occasion, but their agenda only differs from Mugabe's only in honesty: Mugabe has overtly declared war on his White minority.
I suggest that the article poster contact an American immigration attorney immediately and seek to get out by any means necessary. Perhaps consider overstaying a tourist visa in a safer country, and laying low until you can get the gears of the immigration system turning. Your life may depend on it.

It's SOOO refreshing to have local Americans who are smart enough to see the political situations, like the South African and Zimbabwe examples, for what they are! Africa could have and should have been the wealthiest continent on the planet! Instead it is destined to die a slow death of starvation and disease for one single reason -- the demonic and fascist black dictators that were voted in by their OWN people.
Incidentally, Phlogiston, I did exactly what you suggested in your last paragraph. But no-one should ever be forced into doing that and my parents are too old to even try it. It's very sad.

I have similar thoughts on Brazil and Mexico, versus Switzerland or Japan. The first two have super-abundant natural resources and massive populations of young workers, but have somehow managed to find a way to be poor. The Swiss and the Japanese have practically zero resources and small/moderate populations, but are exceptionally rich.
If we blame "colonialism" for Africa's problems, let's note that the world's lone superpower is a former colony, as are many prosperous places like Australia. Even India is booming! Let's not even begin to discuss colonial Hong Kong versus non-colonial mainland China.
The problems that exist are the result of politics. These countries either directly reject capitalism and free-market processes, or allow so much graft and corruption that all capitalism grinds to a halt. Plus, western charity interference has created a continent of beggars, rather than entrepeneurs who seek to solve any one of the superabundant problems that people would pay to have disappear from their lives.

Being a refugee must be awful. Intensified, of course, with watching the wicked glee of millions of sick White liberals happy to see the children of colonial settlers subject to wholesale rape and murder, courtesy of demagogue tyrants and their militarized gangs.
However, the United States is known for it's "family reunification" immigration policies, courtesy of the 1965 immigration act. Upon citizenship, you may be able to get your relatives fast-tracked out of harm's way. It will be emotionally difficult, but the alternative may be death at the hands of rampaging thugs.

Go back to the original pic you made your avatar from, click edit, click resize, and click 100 pixels high then click "maintain aspect ratio". Save that image and reload it as your avatar. That way you don't look like such a fat-headed roidhead meatpuppet...
