hey hey Owen. You sure know how to dig the dirt, big man. That's cool. Yep, let that baby resurface again. It's the only thing people can use to say, "Ah, SEE! I told ya he was a no-good-SOB!"

Brighter individuals, however, tend to make decisions based on their own analysis of people. I can't wait until Fayner posts July's LukeFord.com year in review. Should be a goodie with all this crap resurfacing yet for the tenth time.

Hey Bubba,
Take it easy. I never said you were an SOB or a bad guy. You're awfully defensive. Why?
I have no beef with you, I just simply find your story to be an interesting one. When did I ever write anything judgemntal? If I did, please show me.
I noticed you fealt the need to conduct an interview with Luke Ford regarding the past. Cool read.
I like the neat quote on how you started the site out of "boredom". I thought Inside The Lair was about helping those that have been "left out" or "shunned" by this business.
Which is it? Just curious and I hope you don't get upset with my asking.

Inside The Lair
by Duke Floored (send email to Duke Floored)

Aaron, owner of www.insidethelair.com, was the topic of gossip on porn sites like Adultfyi.com in July.

I call him in South Dakota Wednesday evening.

Duke: "What prompted you to start your site?"

Aaron thinks for about ten seconds: "Boredom."

Duke: "What were you doing prior?"

Aaron: "I was retired because of health reasons. I had read lukeford.com, Gene Ross's site, AVN, Scott Fayner, Wanker Wang, Yesportal.com.

"AVNInsider has good columnists. I thought I could do something better. The columnists on AVNInsider are Heidi's friends. That's how they get their position."

[Duke interjects for the record: This is Aaron's allegation. I can't substantiate it. I don't have evidence to support Aaron's claim.]

Aaron: "There are people out there who can write. I appreciate good writing. We have Yesportal, which pays its columnists. I don't pay. AVNInsider doesn't pay."

Duke: "What has surprised you in running Insidethelair?"

Aaron: "It has surprised me that the gossip columnists get more hits than I do. People will always go back to gossip, to get the latest s--- on somebody. You're always going to want to know what your friends and enemies are saying about you. That's why there are so many gossip sites. I don't play that game.

"If I'm in the news, I know there must not be much news that day because I'm boring. I'm not as evil as people might think. When they talk to me on the phone, they're in shock because I'm laidback. Some people think they're going to talk to a monster after July's stories. People thought I was a liar. I admitted to the things I did wrong and I apologized. To say I'm a liar is a lie. If you spend any time with me, I'm incredibly laid back. To say that none of us have lied is a lie. Particularly the adult industry.

"In the adult industry, you are going to be lied to every day. This is not an industry filled with great people. It's not like a carnival. There's everybody from drug addicts to criminals. I'm always shocked. The people I know in the industry try to stay out of the drama and lead normal lives."

Duke: "Have you ever dated anyone in the adult industry?"

Aaron laughs: "What does dating entail?"

Duke: "Going out, the two of you, to a meal or a movie or drinks."

Aaron: "Me and Vandalia did that once or twice."

Duke: "Why do you live in South Dakota?"

Aaron: "For my health."

A few hours later, Aaron writes: "My sincere apologies to my friends Jay Moyes and Henri Pachard. You gentlemen write for AVNInsider because you are talented writers, actually have something fascinating to say, and because you actually write your own columns. I completely forgot that you two write for AVNInsider. My apologies."
