I just talked to Kelly on the phone two seconds ago and it is her wish that this issue be dropped. Kelly's my friend and I respect her, so I'm leaving it, Heidi.
I have nothing to gain and nothing to lose by stating the following, so I'm fucking letting it be known. To think that your columnists are exclusive to AVNInsider is pure bullshit. We at InsideTheLair.com give people an actual chance to write, Heidi. Opportunity and Capitalism. Wake up, Heidi. If anyone in porn doesn't agree with opportunity and capitalism, they're lying. I saw the bullshit that was going down with people having to kiss ass to get things accomplished in porn. I decided to actually be the one to fucking make shit happen and give people a chance. I don't want or need anyone's fucking money. I don't give a shit if people love me or hate me and I don't demand admiration from anyone. I hate asskissers and fruits, but respect those who give people a fair shake.
That's all I have to fucking say to you, for now.

I call him in South Dakota Wednesday evening.
Duke: "What prompted you to start your site?"
Aaron thinks for about ten seconds: "Boredom."
Duke: "What were you doing prior?"
Aaron: "I was retired because of health reasons. I had read lukeford.com, Gene Ross's site, AVN, Scott Fayner, Wanker Wang, Yesportal.com.
"AVNInsider has good columnists. I thought I could do something better. The columnists on AVNInsider are Heidi's friends. That's how they get their position."
[Duke interjects for the record: This is Aaron's allegation. I can't substantiate it. I don't have evidence to support Aaron's claim.]
Aaron: "There are people out there who can write. I appreciate good writing. We have Yesportal, which pays its columnists. I don't pay. AVNInsider doesn't pay."
Duke: "What has surprised you in running Insidethelair?"
Aaron: "It has surprised me that the gossip columnists get more hits than I do. People will always go back to gossip, to get the latest s--- on somebody. You're always going to want to know what your friends and enemies are saying about you. That's why there are so many gossip sites. I don't play that game.
"If I'm in the news, I know there must not be much news that day because I'm boring. I'm not as evil as people might think. When they talk to me on the phone, they're in shock because I'm laidback. Some people think they're going to talk to a monster after July's stories. People thought I was a liar. I admitted to the things I did wrong and I apologized. To say I'm a liar is a lie.
