There's something darkly ironic in sending an attractive man to jail for groping.

But seriously, I've gotten cynical about these things. I imagine that most people presume Christian to be wealthy, and I think anyone in his position who lets himself go into a room or elevator with a woman and no exculpating witnesses is bound to get hit with some "groping" allegation. Easy money, if you're sleazy.

The other side of the coin is that these celebrities think they can get away w/ anything and they usually do. Ask Robert Blake & Jacko.

I suppose we can watch as Jacko now spends his time in Bahrain. The CIA world factbook says their legal system is based predominately on Islamic law and English common law, so I guess he gets a trial before they cut his child-raping dick off.

Also, when was the last time Christian Slater did anything career-wise? Without checking IMDB, I would never know.

I can't think of anything worth watching starring Slater besides maybe True Romance. Speaking celebrity justice, do you remember what Halle Berry got away with?

She got community service for a hit and run that left the other person with a broken arm. Unbelievable, but that's at least something compared to the scot-free Michael Jackson, Robert Blake, and O.J. Simpson.

As for Catwoman? 9% at Rottentomatoes.com. Typical review:

I've seen CS in a couple of less famous movies lately. They were okay. One was called The Deal with Miss tinytits Selma Blair, and in another he plays a psycho corporate headhunter trying to get this guy to hire on with a company. Oddly enough that one was good, and his part was cool.
