Michael Jackson doing a charity song for Katrina is nothing. I'm guessing yall didn't see the Oprah show where Chris Rock went to New Orleans and cried with the victims. And, no, that's not a joke.
Michael Jackson's career was worth millions and millions. How else do yall expect him to try to revive it? You can't just let a fortune like that slip through your fingers. Gotta grab the low hanging fruit first by appealing to the melodramatic and lonely amongst us. He knows he's popular enough to make millions just off those people.
And, Phlog. You gotta give it up to Bob Dylan's vocal solo on We are the World. That guy had some balls to line up with all those people knowing full well he was the only one who couldn't sing, then to belt it out like he was personally rescuing the children starving in Africa.
