It looks like my lifespan at ADT has run out! I’ve certainly been getting contacted by many asking what my thoughts are, so I’ll figure I’ll just try to put my parting thoughts in one succinct post. Here goes:

First off, I am a private property absolutist. Drew and Steph own this forum, and, like someone in their own home, they are free to determine which guests they permit and which they do not - and for whatever reasons they determine. Something as small in life as getting denied access to a porn forum should not take precedence over the right of other individuals to govern the use of their personal property - period.

Do I think their reasons were political? Absolutely. And that is adequate reason, since it is their forum. However, that does not mean that important things should not go unsaid.

Is anyone else doubting that Steph ever emailed one of the left-leaning ADT posters and, for example on an Iraq thread, asked that they stop referring to war supporters as “chicken hawks”? How about using the term “neo-con” in a pejorative manner? I doubt it - and that should be viewed as equally or more divisive than using a common descriptive political term such as “liberal” or “leftist”. I also don’t think I, or any conservative or libertarian forum member, was more polarizing as GaySatyr, for example. (It was also popular to joke that we were really the same person. I have nothing against the guy, but it would probably be fair to say we were opposite sides of the same coin.) I also dislike the practice of calling people who agreed with me on occasion “cheerleaders”, since the term carries the connotation that people did not reach similar conclusions as myself of their own free will - they’re just mindlessly applauding my speech. This was a common slur in one of the literally two emails Steph ever sent to me. I strongly object to the fact that bashing Christians is strongly approved speech, while making observations about the character of the religion responsible for 99% of the world’s terrorism is held in a negative light. Let us also notice that my deactivation thread included extensive posts from a guy, TonyC, who threatened to stab me in a thread posted by Asmodeus that has since been deleted. I may have been an abrasive presence to some, but my posts never ventured into possible criminality. TonyC is, of course, still an active poster on ADT. Once again, it is well within the rights of Steph and Drew to ban me, but it should be beyond dispute that political biases are strongly at work on ADT.

There is a world full of people who disagree with me, but I have no enemies. Outside WN&N and ADT, I wish all forum members the best, particularly Drew and Steph, despite her gratuitous use of the term “asshole” in the relevant WN&N thread. ( A term I never used to describe another forum poster, and I’m a “confrontational jerk” in Ultradamno’s estimation.)

That said, I wish all forum members well. ADT has provided me an opportunity to meet some truly decent and interesting people, and I have no regrets. I wish everyone on the forum good luck in their lives, and hope they enjoy many years of posting on ADT and consuming massive quantities of porn.

I have worn as a Badge of "honor" the fact that, after I discovered XPT the beginning of this year, I have NEVER posted at ADT...in fact I cringe anytime someone even posts a link to a thread at ADT...*shudders*

ADT is as Sterile as a fucking Hospital Transplant Unit...I like my discussions regarding filth and the filth industry to be, well, filthy...and no holds/holes barred.

I used to live in this fancy pants neighborhood where all the McMansions had signs in their front yard advertising what alarm system they had to deter burglars. Maybe not Da Burglar, but whatev. 'Protected by ADT' was the most common.

I never had one in my yard because I always thought it'd be more effective to surprise the burglar in case he knew which alarm company codes to crack.

They run a "community" site that benefits from diverse community participation, but then when anything personally pisses her off Steph pulls rank, hits the ban button and covers up the evidence. The corollary to this is that "Drew" was known for using her email too (posing as her or trolling to see what others thought of him; can't say for sure), especially back when she was claiming to be non-confrontational. Covering up the evidence is what should bother people the most though (though there are a lot of other tricks that Mark and/or Steph pulled that many ass kissers would find even more offensive). I know the industry is full of sneaks, thieves and back stabbers but rewarding a couple that embrace these values so much is weird.

I've also never really understood why so many people link to their website from here though as it boosts their search engine ratings (cut & paste would limit this). Those of you that hate the place (whatever else is said, I don't hate them but I still roll my eyes when I hear the latest tricks they've pulled) might want to consider that when you assist in promoting them all over the place.

I would have never known about the name thing except one time he emailed me as "Mark" when trying to get me reved up about how much Adult DVD Empire was trying to fuck them out of commissions. The company started up their own forums and he was livid that they were trying to "steal" his idea but the main topic was how the company was shorting them of their commissions (old news but it illustrated the point).

While I think each of the loving couple at ADT have their own disorders, I just thought it was fair to point out that you can never be too sure which one is responding to you from their emails and/or forum postings as they were doing so interchangably when I was a member (and appear to be doing so to this day). That also answers the appearance of bipolar disorder at times, answering it in their favor on one hand at that, given that if you get fucked with by one of them, it could well be the other's handiwork.
