This is funny cuz Lain used to have those weird sores on her legs too and even scars from previous ones. They took foreeeeeeeeeeeeever to heal too. She told me that the big one on her knee was from a motorcycle exhaust burn. LOL!!!!

Yep...she told me the exact same thing. Didnt think about it at the time, but it makes sense now.

No need to feel ignorant. Not a lot of people know him or his work. His name is Unger Manasse and the painting is known as Mica. Very few of his original paintings are in existance today so you can imagine how I felt to find this one.

Man, you are not kidding about his being hard to find. Numerous google searches yield practically nothing.
I would love to buy a print of this painting somewhere. Even a poster would do, but it's not looking too promising.
