I've seen enough bad porn, and enough good porn, to see that there is a big difference.

Something makes some people spew crap and other people produce stroke-worthy material. If not talent, then the only other possibility is that "dedication to the craft" - the willingness to do more work than the bare minimum necessary to get a paycheck - or some combination thereof.

Private emails I've exchanged with Kami convince me she really does want to do a good job. "Want to" isn't necessarily the same as succeeding over course, but it certainly seems to me she wants to do a good job and is trying to do so.
