a treatment protocol of interferon and riboviron has shown to completely remove the virus to the point where it registers as a 0 viral load in some patients. And those patients are told 2 years out from the last 0 load test that they can assume they are entirely hep c virus free. they will always test positive for the antibody, obviously, and I think it would be irresponsible to start sharing serum products. But, it is generally accepted that this virus does not transmit sexually without blood to blood contact anyways.
