I stopped listening to them after Shout At The Devil. Theatre Of Pain, wtf was that garbage? Good thing Reign In Blood and Master Of Puppets came out that yr.

I don't go to concerts anymore because i am an old man and hate crods bumping me and standing for the whole concert but back in the day Motley Crue was an excellent show I saw them 3 times- great drum solo too

I thought Tommy "Hepatitis C" Lee wasn't with them anymore? His drum solos where legendary.

Damn I forgot about that Have2- you are probably right- I saw them back between the shout at the devil and theater stages of their career.That would suck then because the drum solos were worth the price of admission alone- and I don't even like solos.

Tommy Lee was there and he had a drum solo where he swung across the stage, going back and forth on two different drum kits way up in the rafters. It was pretty fucking good but not as good as the revolving drum kit from back in the day. The best drum solo ever, however, is Neil Peart's from Rush.

Tommy Tripod is still indeed the drummer for M.C. seeing as how the whole rap/rock thing he did sucked ass (Nikki Sixx wrote all of M.C.'s songs you know) and I don't imagine his semester at the U. of Nebraska sent him off in search of a degree in bovine husbandry. Neil Peart's drum solo on "A Show of Hands" might very well be the gold standard, Bonzo's bloated live "Moby Dick" solo's notwithstanding.
