Hey Cleetus, seeing as you live in N.Y.C, this is going to be a strange recommendation, but check out Bringing Out the Dead by Martin Scorsese. Keep this in mind, it is a dark, dark, dark, and black comedy. I can't stress dark and comedy enough, maybe I have a strange sense of humor, but give it a look. Again, DARK comedy. It's a hidden gem in Scrosese's career.
