I have stayed out of the most recent Smartt meltdown but my working theory, and this is just a theory, is that Smartt truely is a hacker and is holding XPT hostage. He has set his terms as.. being allowed to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. The consequence of not complying is that he will shut down the site, no wonder there has been so much dancing around the spamming issue...that's an automatic ban for anyone else here, whether it be temporary or not. I am taking a break from this place and will look at who's left here after my hiatus before deciding to post again.
