Hey Cleetus, I'm actually visiting the L.A. area for a bit and staying with a friend who is going to UCLA. I'll looking into the medical field at either USC/UCLA. Tough schools to get into, but its worth a shot. I'm actually from Botswana, which is just outside of South Africa. If you all want to go ahead and make jokes, I heard them before "so black I sweat oil," or that if it wasn't for my eyes and teeth, no one could see me at night or that if I showed you a photo of my mother you'd think you were looking at National Geographic. I've been here for almost a month or so now, still trying to figure out where everything is. Its funny meeting people out here. When people come together from different cultures or backgrounds, so much can be learned or joked about. Those "little differences" as I have heard them called. Anyway, and maybe these comments should be moved somewhere else, but just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of things to do or where to eat in L.A.? My friend and me have been cooking up some "crazy hot" gumbo lately, but wouldn't mind a change of taste. Also is Sunset Blvd at night really that bad? I've heard stories and if there true Spam me with good eating places.

P.S. A side note, I'm not sure how many of you have lawyers as friends, the guy I'm staying with is going to UCLA law school right now, but he's insane. Really, its like he knows the law and the plenties (sp?) for taking pills, breaking various laws, etc., yet he has a drive in him that is missing in most people. Anyway, sorry for the long post

I wake up early and he sleeps in late. This place is pure entertainment.

Sorry Monstar, still trying to figure out where everything is west/east sides. I like your blog by the way. Don't listen to the people on this board, Prince Rocks. With the right women, put that stuff on in a club/bar, women go crazy. Likewise, put some Portishead on late in the night with Stormy or whoever and panties will literally hit you in the face. I'm dead serious. Or maybe I've been with the wrong women.
