No matter how much one enjoys entertainment based on images (especially films), now and then comes the desire to get some comfort from books as well. Speaking of yours truly, there are many great people in the writing trade I respect a lot, but there's only one J.P. Donleavy. This man knows how to write and whenever I need some quotes or just good time with a book both funny and sad, not to mention superbly wriiten and reflecting some of my own thoughts and feelings, I take any copy of Donleavy. Hope there are people here who enjoy his works as much as I do.
