It serves to prevent specimens like the above Sloth-o Sapien from reproducing, instead allowing the impulse-driven creature to relieve the sexual instinct by imagining his over-stretched sweat socks are actually a female vagina (such as Kinzie Kenner's), thus harmlessly relasing his otherwise hazardous spermatozoa into the environment.
