Actually you can promote your product regardless of what company you are from- JM or Brandon or anyone in between. As far as I know Jeff started the board as a free speech alternative to ADT. It is his board so of course he pitches his product but others pitch theirs as well. I like the heads up that posters regardless of agenda provide for their new product- it allows me to figure out what to look for to rent or buy in the future.
