haha do u want to compare quality life level in scandinavia and USA?
In scandinavia there are NO poors or homeless, in usa plenty. Yes, you might have a lot of filthy rich ppl, but also great differences and poverty.
Im not telling what is right or wrong, just depicting the situation.
And yes, even on richest countries there might be whores who decide to be porn actress just because they are whores and not only for the money, but is just a little minority.

Despite our welfare system, we do have "plenty" of homeless people here in Scandinavia. About a month ago, I read a survey that stated that in Copenhagen there are more homeless than in New York City (in % taking the population differences into account). Yes, it is a matter of politics - and having to live with an income tax rate of ~50%, 34% corperate tax and 25% sales tax.. As education is free for all here and everyone gets free scholarships/goverment grants, noone needs a job to finance their studies... 2 other factors have to be considered - we are a small country - it is much more difficult to "hide" here. And I think the "Chicken and the Egg" effect, is important, it is not "common" to do porn. Noone wants to be "the only one" or the "freak who does porn"... But we were no. 1 in the 1960 and 1970 (Denmark), we had plenty of models - we were the first country to legalize porn... that makes me proud to be Danish.  The only "big" porn star we have today is the cute Denise Klarskov, http://www.deniceklarskov.dk, she used to have a really nice galleri at ladirectmodels.com. Most of the east european countries have plenty of wellfare - but the pay for a single scene is attractive, as it is often more than a week of "normal" work. Somtimes even a month...
