COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho - Idaho kidnapping suspect Joseph Edward Duncan III committed his first act of sexual assault 30 years ago, preying on a 5-year-old boy when he was just 12, according to a report published Wednesday.

Duncan’s records reveal a history of inflicting violence and sexual torture upon others, particularly young boys, with his crimes escalating in their seriousness. His past shows a series of failed treatments and refusal to comply with therapists and law enforcement officials who tried to correct his behavior, which mental health evaluators diagnosed in 1980 as consistent with an antisocial personality and a sexual deviant, the Seattle Times reported.

On Tuesday, Duncan was charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping in connection with the abduction of Shasta Groene, 8, and her brother Dylan, 9, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The two children had been missing since May 16, when the bound and beaten bodies of their mother, older brother, and mother’s boyfriend where found in their rural home


Now I'm opposed to the death penalty but if ever there was a poster boy for the death penalty its this Man.

This girl saw her mother and two others blugeoned to death. she and her brother were kidnapped and molested. He killed the brother in front of her when he got bored with him and continued raping her. This went on for SIX Weeks and it's not the first time he's done this type of thing!

I'll bet he is going to blame porn for making him crazy.

I am pro- death penalty and if found guilty he should get it.

I'm opposed to the death penalty but, only thing stoping me from supporting it in this one case is that it's too quick and too expensive.

yeah the appeals will cost the taxpayer a fortune and he will spend the time on death row separated from the other inmates. He will get a pain killer and anxiety reliever right before the execution so his death is more pleasant.

Convict him, sentence him to life and he goes into the general population with no appeals or pain relief.

Child rapists are not well liked in prison, and sometimes the guards let the other prisoners solve the problem more efficiently than the courts can. Think Jeffrey Dahmer.

I've been reading what he did to those children and while I think men geting raped in prison is wrong. I would not be upset if something bad happend to this man.
