I think the cage has already peaked and has been on the slippery slope down to the level of mediocrity only accepted at adt and in some sections of the marcus board. We were at the height only ever reached by one other board (randi wright one) but the lack of interesting topics and cheap 2nd rate posting by a lot of people (myself included) has taken this section down quite a bit. Its a sad day and a tough thing to come to terms with that a board that was once so great has now been broken by the frankies and brandon irons of the world. I bid you a good day sirs.

There should be some function that filters crap posters. Thing that sucks is there has been such a large influx of crap posters its hard to keep track of, i mean before there would be one crap new poster who would be hammered like a zebra baby to a pack of lions never to be heard from again, now they come in packs, its impossible for the lions to attack when they are outnumbered by bambis.

let the monkey ban like three people, the signal/noise ratio is getting pretty lousy these days. this isn't a democracy anyhow-look at what happens when people have rights-AIDS, women voting, and it's illegal to beat your neighbor's kid for having shifty eyes.
the easiest way to gauge the health of the cage is to look at how often something unrelated to karaoke pictures makes it on lukeisback and also the arab-o-meter. the arab-o-meter applies for a bunch of people who say funny things but don't have much time to wade through shitty stuff. i thought running kyoto off was a huge mistake, his misanthropy, however insincere, was effective at holding back the barbarian hordes who post boring shit.
on the positive side of things, nobody's really deserted the place. there's also far too little attention being paid to the hilarious battle against wankus being waged by coochie monester. we're ignoring a potential cage-classic on this one to bitch amongst ourselves.
random will be back. big worm's got tons of potential but needs to avoid posting pictures like smartt did and starting identity-related controversies in every other thread.
shaddup needs to write something other than the equivalent of the simpson's kid who goes "ha-ha!" at every moment of misfortune and stop pissing me off.

Yeah jamesn, I have to admit that the pictures of asmus and that fat bitch are usually not my style. I hereby give my cage word of honor that I will make no more attempts to blind the rest of the XPT community with such pictures. I can handle being compared to brandon iron, but there's no need to start making comparisons between me and smartt.
Also, I am about to find myself real busy thanks to the path that I have chosen in life and will likely be posting much less here than earlier this summer. That said, I believe that the quality of my posts will likely improve as the quantity declines.. and if not, fuck it!
One last thing, trent has openly admitted that he's not 18 yet so what is the hold-up on getting him banned?

On the flipside I happen to agree with Jamesn in his support for Big Worm. I find his posts very funny and witty. Thanks for the kind words coochie, I'm actually not going anywhere for the next few months but I will be a lot more busy from here on out and so I don't know how much time I'll have to spend at the computer.
As for the glory days, I am not sure when they were since they had passed before my arrival but some of the old stuff involving wars between kyoto, monkey, garfield is among some of the funnier posts that I have read.

Apart from "I agree with the above" (which should go without saying), I just want to point out that much of what makes the Cage what it is is the input from non-porno people such as myself. Unfortunately, I don't find the time to contribute very often, but It's reassuring to know that my mocking, sarcastic words may influence someone in some way.

It may be stuck in a lull for the time being but that will no doubt change in good time. This monkey chap sounds like he just needs a good long vacation away from the board for a week or two. The greenhorns fresh from adt need to put more effort into their posts here, myself included. The regulars like EK and tanta's daddy do need to put more effort into this board or they might as well be posting at adt where they will get more praise for that stuff they post. Now that I think about it, perhaps this thread was necessary to wake up everyone here and let them know that this board is being reduced to the level of adt drivel.

Myspace led me to it. Of course I can't actually confirm if its true or not, but he made mention of some certain obscure bulletin boards and lame east coast cracker-rappers that I thought peculiar from both "characters". Poor syntax and a missing Shift key fleshed out my theory.
Either way, I'd be fine with him so long as he's not being the turd that we'd come to know lately. He appears to be pretty well dialed in to the industry and could be a benefit to the board. I mean he's got a picture of himself with damn near everyone in the valley so he must know something, right?

I never claimed to have an extensive knowledge about porn or the porn business. I just found this place and hung around to see what would be worth reading. After that then decide which I gave a shit about enough to post a reply.
