I don't know if anyone remembers this, but back in 1997 Mattel Toys tried to go into the business of engineering social consciousness instead of just selling fucking toys, and decided upon this:

Am i the only one that is actually sick of looking at a guy with cerebral palsy and hearing about wheel chairs all day on this board?  Perhaps someone with some photoshopping skills could at least change up the pics of mr. human ATV and blend in wankus and sammura. Just a thought bitches.

Well, Garfield is back and he usually has a lot to contribute, but he seems a little reticent about jumping back in with both feet. I guess since he's retired from the industry.

I remember that. They also released Sign Language Barbie at the same time. They called her Share a Smile Becky and the controversy was that the Barbie houses were inaccessible to her so they fixed that by putting her in a smaller wheelchair.
