When I was young and in my crippled prime, I knew another crippled kid who had cerebral palsy, and everytime he sneezed he convulsed and sucked the snot back in, resulting in a good 30 seconds of ack ach ack ag ackk, not unlike the quacking sounds in question. I feel lucky my crippled-ness is an orthopedic condition, and my motor control and nerve function were never affected. I mean, growing up I knew a lot of kids with conditions like cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and later on, people with MS. The most pressing question I had when I stopped to consider such people is...how do they jerk off? I mean if your arm is going herky jerky at a very inconsistent rate of speed, it must take like 4 hours to drop a load on your wheelchair footrests...
