It's not up to me who can comment on a thread. They bounced one of my replies and with hindsight, it's not so bad that they did.

How they decide is also something not known to me. The rejection notice I got mentioned that threads which should be addressed in email will be rejected.

I guess I would agree that my reply was something that should have been in email.

I'm not defending or condemning the practice, just coming down on my own thread as a bit of a waste of time.

Any moderarated forum will have rules. It's the nature of the beast. Good? Bad? Not my place to say.
