Since it appears I'm being "punked" -- though a feeble attempt it must be, because it's not exactly sticking out to me -- I'll share with you what it takes to really "punk" someone.

First you read ADT and gather information. You find out that a certain moderator is going to be out of town.

Then you sign up an account here under his ADT name. You use his avatar from over there for realism.

Then you post a synopsis of what he's been doing while he's out of town that you lifted from ADT.

Then you wait for people to contribute. And once they do, you wait for an opening to strike.

When the opening comes in the form of a pornstar revealing sexual information about this moderators personal life, you then move in for the kill. You cop to what has been said in embarrassing detail.

Then you wait for the jackals here to pick apart the pieces. You even add a few jabs of your own under your real account.

Then, when things become real interesting, you call Luke Ford out, under your real account, and ask him why he hasn't posted this amazing story of exploit on his web site.

Then you check lukeisback to see that he's posted it.

Then you politely thank Luke in the thread, again under your real account, and revel in knowing that hundreds, if not thousands of people will read this on Luke's site.

Then you check ADT to see if it's made news over there. Luckily for you, it has.

Then you wait till the real moderator makes his appearance and denounces that this person claiming to be him is a fake.

Then you revel some more in knowing that everyone has to clear things up. Apologies have to made. E-mails have to be sent -- even to Luke, who by the way, doesn't take the info down from his sight despite knowing it was all a joke.


Obviously, Cleetus got it.

If you want to punk someone, that's how you do it. I actually felt bad afterwards for being such a colossal prick, but what's done is done.

Other than that and Max Hardcore, which I copped to immediately after doing, Random is the only id I've used. I agree with James, too many fakes are just clutter.
