I think anyone with an education and popular culture knowledge can pull off comedy. Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock and a couple other's I can't think of off the top of my head prove that. Black culture has been crucial to the role of music and comedy in white North American culture for almost a hundred years.

As far as I know Bishop has an excellent education and can be quite well spoken. If Coochie Monster is black he is very sharp for any race group. Comedy knows no racial boundaries.
