It can just as well be argued that watching Max's porn gives certain people an outlet for their brutal desires and may actually stop them from going over the edge.

I do believe porn can have very negative consequences, but more in terms of damage that performers and fans can inflict on themselves. I don't see it as something likely to spill over to claim innocent victims.
