Compared to the goings on in the rest of the world, porn is perhaps the least of evils. In fact, it isn’t evil. Only people are evil. You want evil? Turn on the news: kidnappings, murders, war, terrorism, starvation, pollution, bombs, etc. So what’s the big deal about porn? It doesn’t foster violence. If it does, blame the person, not pornography. Sometimes I cringe when I see some of these extreme porn tapes and I start to feel sorry for the bitches, but then I splash cold water on my face. Pornography isn't about sympathy. It's about the money. It's for the horny. So fuckin’ what if she chooses to fuck 6 strangers in a limo for money or get mercilessly throatfucking til she pukes? It’s sad. Simp is getting to me. WHY? She signed the contract, she’s getting the money and maybe actually getting off on it? Think about all the evil that goes on in the world off camera.

Finally! I got simp to open up. The WHY in the review was followed by a feeble answer to your eternal question. There really is no answer. It's a mystery of the human psyche, but passivity all depends on the viewer and then what exactly the action that is taken. One may either jerk off to the scene or fast forward. Those that jerk off to it may not even have the morals to feel quilty, but you seem to be both repulsed and attracted to this stuff. Hence the WHY? Maybe maybe not, but I've got far worse to feel guilty about and when I ask WHY? it's in regards to my disasterous life, but I digress. However, it is entertaining to follow your endless WHY? quest.

I could answer this, but I am hiding the intelligent, moral, enlightened part of myself behind the stupid, morally retarded shit I typically post.... Along with viewing some selective porn, I post here at XPT for the sake of (1) entertaining myself (2) entertaining/repulsing others ...and (3) developing a cult following of crippled porn obsessed perverts ...
Smuts views, and questions, though, are indeed valid and well expressed....throw in SIMP's "WHY? OH GOD WHY?" and this thread should be discussed at length by all who come here....

Couldn't disagree with this more, but I see where you're coming from. Obviously it's not responsible for every violent act that's been committed against women, but it certainly has contributed to it in some cases. I agree the person who perpetrated the crime is responsible for his actions, but no one can say that to the feeble-minded, violent porn can't provoke violent behavior.
Picture some lonely man in his mid 40's. He's fat, ugly, has no friends. He's poor, works a dead end job and deals with suicidal depression on a daily basis. For him, getting out of bed in the morning is the equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest to a mentally stable, able-bodied person. Because of all these things, this man lacks most forms of social skill. Any he has have been obtained through television and porn -- rough porn.
So lets say this guy, by some generous act of God, meets a woman. It's been a decade since he last got laid, if it even happened at all. When it comes to sex, this man's only frame of references are the Max Hardcore videos he's such a fan of. So he gets physical with this woman. He's a little awkward, a little rough. She seems uncomfortable, but he continues because he knows the girls in the videos seem to enjoy it. He starts off small -- a little tug of her hair, firmly grabs her face when they kiss. The girl's had enough. She want's to split. He's confused, he doesn't understand why. He's sitting there with a hard-on that can cut glass. He's not going to let her leave. He'll get what he wants, by force if need be. Why? Because he's seen Max do it, so it must be okay.
Now, of course, many guys are capable of this type of behavior, whether their brains have been polluted by porn or not. But the fact remains, a lot of porn fans are exactly how non-porn fans imagine them to be -- just like the man above. It would be silly to say that men who are like the man above can't in anyway be affected negatively be the images and behavior they see in some of these videos. Never underestimate what a bitter, socially inept man is capable of.

I see a major flaw in this argument. Why was the guy watching Max Hardcore in the first place? Rough porn is not the only flavor, he could just as well have chosen to watch those lovey-dovey "couples" flicks made by Vivid, which are actually much easier to get as they rule the cable market.
Ergo, this hypothetical loser/rapist chose Max videos because they satisfied the mysogynistic inclinations he already possessed. Max did not make him a rapist.
