I still think we are too nice as a country, we are afraid of bombing because it might cause a bad reaction in the press, we apparently shouldn't bother taking prisoners anymore because everyone outside an many inside the USA believe the detainees word as gospel. We enter these wars, like Vietnam, with an idea that we are the good guys and will use the rule book to make war clean but that seems an impossible task especially in todays world. We put ourselves at a distint disadvantage by doing so. When the opponent plays dirty the rule book should be thrown out the window. Our number one concern should be for our troops in the field first as they accomplish the mission, worry about the collateral damage after the fact.
