Ewe just have to hand it to Red Light District; how the hell do they make all this porn. Four quality releases every month, probably more. Black Dicks In White Chicks, Young Tight Latinas, etc, etc... It's like a constant porn conveyor belt, pumping out this stuff without stopping. I am surprised you guys have any cum left. LB.

They put out a few titles and I'm sure production will increase more with the two new guys they signed up. But the key to Red Light is - and hopefully will remain to be - the signifigance of each and every release. That is what counts. Any studio can throw product out there by the dozen weekly and/or monthly, but it's quality that counts. Honstly, how many studios can you look to for meaningful releaes every week? 4 or 5 maybe. For the moment Dion is one of them and I hope he keeps it that way. His last aquisition should be Skeeter (if it's even possible at the moment). That dude would rock with either Dion or JM. FUCK! That sounded like a disgusting 'bored' post But I do mean what I said.

Red Light and Platinum: I always thought their dvd menu graphics were very similar. LB.

Yes, and I'm sure that's due to Dions involvement. The back covers are similar as well.

Dude, I understand that the average joe isn't as knowledgable as we are - and trust me when I say the WE (as in you and I) are not even that knowledgable. Everyone wants to be a pro...just like I do With that said I still don't think it would mtter if Vince directed a PXP title or not. Your logic is skewed. Just because the customer likes what Vince Voyeur is doing with his guest stint on a PXP movie doesn't mean they'll ever buy another PXP movie. Why? Because it won't be the same movie. Vince will not be directing it. People buy based on performer, box cover, director and studio. Now that may not be an exact order, but whatever that order is, I can almost assure you that studio is not number one. I should also add genre to that list. Oh, and male talent too. Let me ask you something: do you think revenue would go up if Francis Ford Coppala directed the next Star Trek? Do you think there would be more Trek fans as a result? Do you think Paramount Pictures would get more of the movie buying dollar? Most likely not. One good director making one video for another label will not bolster long-term sales for that label. It takes good directors making consistant, quality product for the long term. Anabolic is a good example of this. They essentially lost all of their directors. What was the result? They're still big, however I doubt sales this year and sales for the titles releaded - sans those with known directors - will rock the sales chart. I know they'll bouce back big, but it was a hit I'm sure. For the most part, people follow known names and brand. But the balance is moving more and more towards name everyday. Finally, don't forget, these guys all have personal investments when it comes to doing their own line.creative and financial as well.

Ewe never get such talk like this on ADT . The nearest we ever came to a reasoned debate was "should chapter selections be animated or stills?"
LB.
LOL, or "Why is this release 8 minutes shorter than the last? I want a refund!!"

It's entirely possible that PXP lets RLD do the DVD mastering, and perhaps boxcovers. It doesn't make sense for PXP to hire their own people for this. Sharing back-office production makes for better "economy of scale".
It's also possible that the PXP people don't like doing all of the drudgery that comes with actually replicating product, shipping, collecting payment, blah, blah, blah – maybe they’re just perverts who want to shoot smut.
There’s more work to be done after the shoot than for the shoot itself and it’s not surprising many people would rather sell the footage to someone else for cash now, rather than do all of the other crap and get paid in a few months (assuming you can customers to pay, which is generally easier said than done). PXP’s arrangement with RLD probably doesn’t work this way but I bet there are a lot of people in porn who do.
