Jade was at Internet Model Palooza, but was late. She missed her scheduled featured dance spot. When she did show up, she ignored the onstage MC who asked her to come up on stage several times. During two of the onstage MC's (sexy babe DJ Agena) entreaties, Jade, chatting with someone she knew, even made eye contact with her, but only looked at DJ Agena with an ever so slightly puzzled, 'Who me?' expression and turned back to her conversation without a care in the world. She was flitting around the room chatting and socializing; that was her priority. Finally about an hour and half later, she got on stage and danced to two songs. Her choreography was lovely, but her performance was uninspired. She was going through the motions. During the second song, she tried to take off her sarong, but couldn't seem to manipulate the knots that held it together to take it off and so sat on her knees struggling with it for over 1 minute. I was nearby and could see that the knots were not complex or tight, but she could barely manage it (very weird, IMHO). After getting off stage, she continued swanning about the room for a bit and then disappearing off into a secluded area with a man she had greeted with great familiarity for a private dance.

What is my impression of her? She is very much living in her own world where her desires solely dictate the pace. It was stunning to see the onstage MC and MC in the booth at the club keep introducing her name in hopes that she'd go onstage and her not acknowledging it at all until she was ready. She had zero embarassment about being late and registered absolutely not the slightest flicker of cognizance that the way that both announcers kept repeating her name, talking about her, and emphasizing it by varying their tones was her cue to get up on stage. In fact, when she first arrived, the MC merely wanted her to come up and wave and then she would have been free to go to the dressing room and get ready. Jade had no interest in even performing that small minimum.
