Just been handed a copy of his 1993 film, Being Human. Tedious beyond belief.
The guy always churns out the same performances no matter which character he is playing. And always wears the same gormless expression, one of innocence mixed with bemusement.
Dire beyond words.

Mork is such a spotty performer. His old, old stand-up is good and his skills at impov are incredible. However, like 90% of the films he's starred in have sucked.

I try to be generous and god lovin', but for the life of me, I cannot commit any good words to his films. Every one of them have sucked big time. They all do. Just how does the guy keep going? He is without doubt the WORST actor in living memory. Not only that, but he can personally make any potentially reasonable film look terrible.

That's probably true. He's as hairy as an ape and he sweats like a long distance runner competing in Africa whenever he's on stage.

He's a spoiled brat whose mommy owned the 'Comedy Store' or similarly named club in LA. He grew up under the wings of some of the biggest names in comedy......and learned fucking nothing.
He had a reasonably popular stint in the late '80's and very early '90's as an MTV VJ called the 'Weasel'. He acted like a retarded hippie and annoyed all who watched him that were over the age of 14.
He parlayed this character outright or at least partially into several shitty comedies. I'm ceertain he's older than 35 and I've read and even heard that he gets more pussy than a gynecologist(sp?) on speed.

He hasn't crossed over to UK shores yet. Thank god, as it seems that guy's idea of humor is my idea of a funeral.

I absolutely HATE The fucking Office. I hear it's going down like a storm in the USA, but I find it about as funny as a huge zit on the ass.
I HATE that show. It is totally not funny to me. The whole set-up is one of SHIT: an office manager being embarrassing. So fuck? That's not humor.

I've never heard of it, and I watch tons of tv. Even if it's not porno. Maybe it's on BBC America.

I think it is on BBC America, but according to UK newspapers, the "Yanks" are going crazy for it. And Ricky Grevious (the writer and main performer) is apparently being lined up to do the Late Show (that guy with the big chin). Also, Hollywood cannot write checks large enough to win Ricky over.
I admit, I laughed at The Office just one time. But that's my point, the show is a one joke "comedy", ie, that of an embarrassing office manager constantly being embarrassing.
It's so tedious. I hope the dudes in the USA wake up, and kick Ricky's ass out of their country.
