As I understand it, Max Hardcore has twice been sued by his starlets, I believe Olivia and Allysin Embers. Allysin Embers' allegations were that she clearly asked him to stop and Max directed the crew to keep filming.

I have seen the Allysin Embers scene, it is a mock rape on the beach in France, and it is pretty hard - who am I to say whether or not it was consensual.

I seem to recall that this case was thrown out with evidence that she shot other scenes with her 'rapist' afterward.

I don't know what happened with the Olivia suit, but notably Max pulled the video and reissued it without the scene, which suggests a settlement of some kind.
