smack may be too cool for porn, but i agree--junkies age better than drunks, tweakers, or (dust/base/coke/crack/acid)heads. burroughs did fine, and there are plenty of people using it on weekends or every third day who are more than functional. it's so fucking pure on the east coast, needles are superflous and if you're a white-collar 34-year old it probably takes less of a toll on your body and keeps you from DUIs than getting shitfaced on a weekend-night. friday night doesn't turn into two days of missed work the next week like speed, and nobody does fucked-up, weird violent shit on heroin.
