Henri is still living in the past, when there were only a couple of widely-read forums for porn, namely AVN. The unwashed masses read what they were given and rogue CompuServe forums didn’t matter.

But in the modern world the Internet lets forums pops up all over, and people can and do read the ones they want. In particular, Henri hasn’t adjusted to the idea that not everybody is going to fawn over everything the Powers That Be favor. And the big problem is that when an unfavorable opinion is stated, it’s going to be read.

That’s probably what makes Hollywood and Big Media so uncomfortable about the Internet: it’s not just that you can say what you want - the big deal is that you can read what you want, and that is much more dangerous for the Establishment.
