The writer's strike currently ongoing- when will it start affecting movies being released. I understand that many are still in the can or postproduction but when will they run out of viable scripts?

One benefit- all the self important blowhards in hollywood might get screwed out of their little dog and pony show called the Oscars.

I'm sure there are already 1000's of crappy scripts they can run with so they shouldn't have to wait for a new crappy script to be penned.

Yeah that is what i was thinking but eventually they will hit the bottom of the barrel, and the drek that appears would make even these hollywood types hang their heads in shame.
