Obviously, there are several layers at wortk @ ADT, which some people find to be problematic. I have enjoyed it as someone interested in interacting with the porn industry as a fan. It's got jackshit to do with free speech, but everything to do with the "American Way" (which is about $$$, power and possession -- NOT free speech, unfortunately, but there you have it). On the other hand, an unregulated Internet social site, especially one that deals with porn, can easily degenerate into a lot of raving nonsense (hell, it will even if it is regulated), so this site here --- xxxporntalk -- stands as an experiment I'm interested in following. Nothing's perfect.

Far from being cordial, ADT were looking for a reason for me to leave.

Another thing is that I received NOT ONE email from a member asking why I had left but wishing me luck. The power that Steph and her band of Twats have is that people are scared to show loyalty to someone in fear of being severed from the porn stars they love and who sometimes visit the site. I also note that Tom Byron went on there and didn't come back. I don't know why Tom didn't but he certainly isn't in a hurry to come back. There are many other porn stars like that.
If ADT was the spearhead of porn then surely the place would be bulging at the sides with the top talent. I could name about 300 top chicks and male performers who don't visit ADT and name about 10 who do. So there.
And don't be fooled into thinking it's the be and end all of the porn industry. I know of loads of people who work in porn and make porn and don't visit that site.
And there are millions who don't and only and a few thousand who do.

Planet was repeatedly warned about some of his actions in the forum. I grew tired of scolding him like a 5 year old child and decided that life would be much easier on the moderators if he weren't around.

These folks are volunteers. They have been angelic with their patience in dealing with this one individual. It was getting to the point that almost 50% of the time dedicated to forum moderation had to do with Planet's posts, his offending someone, enraging another and subsequently sending emails to the effect of "Fuck You! You stupid Fucking American! I hope Osama drops a plane on your house." We don't need that kind of shit.

The decision to ban him was made by me. It was not based on any single incident or forum post.

I had a hard time figuring him out. I am still relatively new here (Walter, look at the number of posts you made, are you sure you know what you are talking about), so I found it difficult at times to decide if he was serious about something or not. There were more than a few occasions when that ambiguity really frightened me.
Likewise, I have a hard time figuring out if I am going to miss his posts.

I totally agree. Some of the best forums I have been part of have had members whose opinions are often at the cutting edge. The most intelligent people are generally the most funny, the most creative and the most likable.
